Doch im Lauf der rund 800 Kilometer langen Tour schwinden die Zweifel, sowohl beim Autor als auch beim Leser. Die beiden passen, und wie. &lt;p&gt; Der Jakobsweg ist seit knapp tausend Jahren Gegenstand unz&#228;hliger Aufzeichnungen und B&#252;cher, gerade in den vergangenen Jahren gab es eine wahre Flut zu diesem Thema. Und doch ist &lt;i&gt;Ich bin dann mal weg&lt;/i&gt; erfrischend anders, was an der ganz und gar typisch Kerkeling'schen Art und Weise liegt, seine rund sechs Wochen lange Tour am&#252;sant und beschwingt, aber dennoch ergreifend und sehr pers&#246;nlich wiederzugeben. Seine ungek&#252;nstelten Tagebucheintr&#228;ge machen Mut, dass auch ausgewiesene Couch Potatos die durchaus vorhandenen Strapazen der Wanderung zu meistern. Strapazen lauern &#252;brigens auch in Gestalt wenig komfortabler Unterk&#252;nfte, manch ungenie&#223;bar scheinender Mahlzeit und aufdringlicher Weggef&#228;hrten. &lt;p&gt; Kerkeling nimmt alle H&#252;rden und dabei kein Blatt vor den Mund. Er beschreibt die Dinge und Menschen, wie sie sind. Demzufolge fungiert das 320 Seiten starke und mit einigen netten Fotos angereicherte Buch als ausgezeichneter und sehr detaillierter Reisef&#252;hrer -- wenngleich sich im Vergleich zum Jahr 2001, in dem dieser Trip stattfand, sicherlich einiges ge&#228;ndert haben d&#252;rfte. Wichtiger noch ist aber die Funktion als vom Jakobsweg losgel&#246;ster spiritueller Ratgeber. Das Gute daran: Das Buch will gar kein spiritueller Ratgeber sein. Missionarischer Eifer, arrogante Besserwisserei, nervige Erleuchtungseskapaden? Fehlanzeige. Und doch geht es viel um Gott, Religion, Wiedergeburt (ein Thema, dass die Boulevardpresse dankbar aufgriff) und die zentrale Frage &amp;#132;Wer bin ich?&amp;#147; Seine Gedanken bringt Kerkeling in den so genannten &amp;#132;Erkenntnissen des Tages&amp;#147; auf den Punkt.
