This is another beautiful book on fairies. The fairies decide to have a midnight feast party, and the entire book centers on that. There is again beautiful artwork and various pop-ups. The inside back pages have a special pop-ups with lights.

This book probably has some of the most beautiful artwork of all these oversized fairy books. Definitely a must for your collection.

I love this book, because it is so pretty. It has pop-up pictures and lights. My very nice neighbor gave it to me.

Cicely Mary Barker was the illustrator who created the famous Flower Fairies; those ethereal smiling children with butterfly wings. As a child she was influenced by the works of the illustrator Kate Greenaway, whom she assiduously copied in her formative years. Her principal influence, however, was the artwork of the Pre-Raphaelites.
