This book held great potential but ended up being a big oh well.

If a reader wants to know about the failed Japanese submarine campaign this book at best is an acceptable place to start. However the authors failed on many levels. The first chapter describes the different types of Japanese submarines but failed to even give the reader a visual reference to the difference between the submarines.
