Scott McNulty writes about blogging with WordPress like someone who loves it. His tone reads happy and engaged, which keeps the material from being just another dry manual, and he's knowledgeable about his subject. He runs multiple blogs using the software. I have been using the free hosted version of the program for a while, and I picked up tips from this book, and sometimes I skipped or skimmed over parts of this book. The book was okay, but prefer to do hands-on and thought the book would give slightly more about the processes and insights of WordPress Blog since I have not yet used but see many authors and other sites are exposed to this social media source.

This book accurately depicts the ins and outs of one of the most popular blog platforms, WordPress! The organization of the content and the clarity is phenomenal; hence, I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking about implementing a blog using today's most popular (free) blog platform!

Got me started on making my blog. OK, so I didn't really read/pay attention to the end parts... which are the important parts. I got busy with the move to the new apartment and the book was overdue at the library... but I should check it out again and finish what I started. But thanks to this book, I finally do have a website/blog. I at least took the first step. That's gotta say something!

Not a great tile but an excellent introduction to Wordpress for complete beginners like me. Scott writes in a very clear way making what is, after all, a somewhat geeky subject, relatively easy to understand.
