Okay I rarely ever read historical romances set back in the 1300's but saying that this one is from one of my favorite authors, well I had to try it.
I was pleasantly surprised. Lael St. James (Linda Lael Miller) wrote an exquiste tale of love, duty and sacrifice set in the times of King Edward and the Black Prince.
Gabriella Redclift is betrothed to a Sir Cyprian Avendall, whom she has only met once and does not care for. Her and her 2 sisters are living in a Monastery in Devonshire. Ave...more
