The reason I wanted to read the Book of Enoch was because I've heard preachers that I admire mention it. I didn't know much about it when I started reading it, except that it gave insight into the days prior to Noah's flood. Of course, whether or not this book is inspired by God (as I believe the Bible to be) is up for debate. All the same though, I figured it was worth checking out. This is the best selling translation of the Lost Book of Enoch in the US at this time. It is a clear, modern English translation with commentary.
