Drive me Crazy is a romance novel filled with comedy too. It has just about everything needed to make a good romantic comedy. Kate and her two best friends were going to drive to Wisconsin by themselves since this was the first time their parents let, but then came along Adam, Alexis' cousin. Alexis is one of Kate's best friends but she can't stand Adam. He decides to join them on their way to Wisconsin since he had an interview to go to there and their parents couldn't drive him from New Jerse...more
Cute. Cute. Cute.
Quick easy read (took me all of maybe three hours more like two and half).
Adam is adorable. I *heart* him like woo-hoo.
Lexi and Sierra are great side kicks to Kate.
Annnnd Kate, well she is a feisty little handful that at times I really didn't like all that much, but she was cute enough that I was okay with her.
Here's my issue: The development of this love story leans heavily on old back stories that we aren't truly privy too. I just felt terrible for Adam the whole time and wan...more

This is more like a 2.5, really, stuck somewhere between "it's okay" and "I liked it". I'd probably like it better if all the recent ro-coms didn't follow the exact same storyline: Girl has cute friend, likes hottie, dates hottie, realizes cute friend likes her and hottie is kind of an ass, and then dumps hottie's ass for a make-out session on the last page with cute friend in proclamation of true love.

-I decided to read this book because I had previously read similar books and I found them interesting.
-The category on the bingo board that this completes is a book with a male main character.
-What I liked about this book was the storyline because it was unique and different from any other book that I've read. Instead of a normal romantic novel which has a girl and guy falling in love and living happily ever after this book has a girl who thinks that she likes a guy but she's not sure and two gu...more

My Thoughts: We meet Kate and her best friends Alexis and Sierra. All 3 girls are going on a road trip to Wisconsin to their summer vacation spot! They are meeting up with their parents there!!! They have it all mapped out! Fun, girl time, chatting, etc. There is also Adam, Alexis cousin who Kate can not stand! He is annoying and he bugs her to the extreme!! Kate can't wait to get to Wisconsin to see Lucas, the guy she's been crushing on forever and kissed at the end of last summer!!! The ride t...more

This was really cute! :) This was a cross between two of my favorite plot types: (1) where best friends fall in love and (2) where the main character thinks they're in love with one person, but it turns out they aren't so compatible with that person... But this person a lot closer to home, on the other hand....
I really loved the banter between Kate and Adam... and I really do this Kate was being silly STILL holding a grudge about what happened in the SIXTH GRADE, especially after Adam...more

drive me crazy certainly drove me crazy!
nothing was funny in here.i dont remember laughing once.
the main character wasn't really likeable at all.she was completely rude at times.
it felt like the whole book was building up to the point when they got to Love and their beach cottages, but when they finally got there nothing happened.they would go to a bonfire and then go to sleep and then sit at the dock and then that would happen all over again. i expected more exciting stuff to happen.

Drive Me Crazy is a witty and romantic book. The plot is not complicated and pretty much easy to figure out. The characters are relatable. The book's simplicity is a perfect getaway from all the frustrating, heart thumping and mind boggling stories that we read everyday.

Drive Me Crazy is another of the Simon Romantic Comedies, and while not as good as some of the others in my opinion, it was still a great read, packed with fun and humour perfect for raising your spirits. I read it in the midst of winter, but I think it’s more of a summer read as it’s about a road trip (road trip!) and has a very summery feel to it. Kate is off to Love (said Loave) for the holidays with her two best friends Alexis and Sierra, where her dream guy Lucas will be – but unfortun...more

This book was so much fun to read! It really took me back to when I was younger and used to go on road trips with my friends. The book has so many twists and turns in it and you keep rooting for someone but then a couple of pages later you are hoping that they will get with someone else.
This book also had a lot of humor in it, I found myself laughing and smiling a lot. I love reading books that can make me happy after I read them. I was sad to see it end though.

Well the plot definitely wasn't original, and I knew how it would end before I started. However, I figure it's the way the author carries out the plot that makes it so amazing. While I was reading, there were parts in the middle that made me want to stop reading all together, but the fact that she hadn't seen Lucas yet kept me reading. After she had made it to Love, I was interested. I completely adored the ending! So I'd have to give it four stars because of the parts where I could stop, but ov...more

Kate, Sierra, and Alexis are on a trip. A roadtrip to their families' summer cabins in Love - pronounced Loave - Wisconsin, that is.
For Kate, the actual driving couldn't go fast enough because in Love the guy of her dreams, Lucas, is waiting for her. But her perfect plans go awry when Alexis's sarcastic and extremely annoying cousin, Adam, joins the roadtrip.
Sierra hates Adam, absolutely loathes him. Everything about him annoys her. But during the many hours...more

This book was really cute. It was also really predictable, but I was okay with that. It was a little short - I would have liked to get to know Sierra and Alexis better. The whole frat party scene seemed really rushed. I would have liked to know more about Alexis to know why she reacted the way she did.
Overall, I liked Kate and Adam and thought their relationship was really sweet.

I was really excited to read this book based on the premise, but some of the lines were so unbelievably cheesy and impossible that it killed the immersion. The Adam at book start would have never said the island words. And some of the psychoanalysis was just basic and off. Transparent and you could see the author's agenda, and not the realism. I don't know. Not my fav. Wish I'd liked it more.
I really did love this book. !!!!!!!!SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's basically about a girl who thinks she has found her prince charming but then she comes to relization that he is no prince. She then relizes that the guy who is has been there all along. THis is beautiful and it was fun too. Very well told. Soooo good. :)

A cute and fun read, especially for summer time. Even though the end result was obvious (which happens a lot with these Simon Pulse rom coms) I still enjoyed spending a couple hours reading it. Kate was likable for the most part; I liked that she was a romantic and wasn't willing to settle for just hooking up with a hot guy.
Drive Me Crazy was a great summer read that had me laughing more times than I can count. The characters were realistic and very likable. I thought it was strange how much Adam reminded me of a guy I used to go to school with and Kate, in many ways, was a lot like me in some ways. The writing was just what I expected, quickly read and well suited for a fun summer read. The ending was well done, sweet and happy, which works for this kind of book. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for...more
This book was just ok for me. The plot was fast paced, which I'm still deciding if that was a good thing or a bad thing, and it was definitely a quick read. The writing style wasn't that great and this book wasn't really what I had expected, but overall, it wasn't horrible. This book definitely seems fit for a younger reader, somewhere around preteens or so. The story and romantic plot was pretty predictable, which I didn't really mind, it's just the writing style didn't really woo me haha. Anyw...more
Just another romance comedy that makes you feel all super giddy all the inside! Quick read and very very light hearted! Please do not read this of you're expecting some heavy realistic romance, because this book will just piss you off and leave you unsatisfied. Still worth the read and the e-book is a reasonable price.
I didn't really enjoy this book because it was pretty predictable so i knew who were going to end up together. i don't like predictable books or movies so i was glad to be done with the book. i think these types of books are more for younger readers that're just starting to read YA books.
Something i learned from is that the more you fight with someone the more you guys get closer. I could relate to this because this is how i meet others. I don't mean fighting like serious ones but more like a...more
