A brilliant, quirky, entertaining set of stories. Of course, I'm biassed because I put them into this little book. However, they were competition winners and I didn't judge the competition.

I love short stories though. I love the way you can read them over and over and carry them around in your head with you as complete ideas. If you ever obsess about daylight saving and what happens to the missing hour, you should read Hannah Eiseman-Renyard--a total delight. Tom Vowler's is a little relationshi
