This book follows Sex and the serial killer with Sheriff Braxton. I really liked his chracter from the other book and had high hopes for this one. I am sorry to say, it fell short. The main characters were Tyler Braxton and Simone Chandler. The other two character who took up most of the story line were Maggie, Tyler's sister and her husband Carl. Tyler travels to Goldstone on a vacation to see his sister and help clear up issues in her marriage, but also to get away from events that happened in...more

I purchased this after reading the first in the series "She's gotta be mine" thinking it was a sequel to that story. I was a bit disappointed at first when I realized it was not continuing the story but beginning a completely story with one character from the first story.
However after getting into the storyline I found it enjoyable. Good mix of romance and suspense with a few unexpected turns along the way. Great summer read!

It didn't help that the Kindle version isn't formatted properly, but I found this confusing. If it's a mystery, I think the murder should take place earlier than 40% into the book and there should be more clues as to who did it. If it's a romance, I just didn't find it believable. It's too bad, because I really liked the previous book, She's Gotta Be Mine.

Second in the series but so far my favorite. I adored the MC's and loved the quirky secondary characters. It was as funny as the first book and I figured out the bad guy sooner than I would have liked but overall the emotional aspect of this book really got to me.

It was so much fun reading the quasi-sequel to 'Sex and the Serial Killer' that really delved into the life and character of Sheriff Brax. He has a lot of depth and the characters of Goldstone are so unique!! They're quirky and the plotline moved along rapidly. The dialogue was funny, honest and the love story so sweet.

I'd love to read more about these characters!

Cottonmouth series continues with Tyler Braxton's trip to rescue his sister's marriage. Time in a trailer town is intriguing and mysterious for Brax as things unfold in their own way.

This book was definitely not as good as the first in the series. It takes after one of the main characters in the first book, but isn't as exciting or cute.

It was amazing, and the ending shocked me. But then again I didn't really sleuth because I didn't really care about this book. It was cute, though. And humorous.

Not as good as the first one and not as much character development, but still fun. Perfect for unwinding with after a long day of work. :)

Serious than funny.

ibook. Just luke the first one, but i liked that one a little better. Typical romantic boy saves girl he loves type of book. Easy read. Explanation of murder was confusing, I guess because it was stupid. But the overall story was okay.

I enjoyed this book, it had a little bit of everything, from mystery with a good plot, hot sexy snippets, and a few laughs.... in all an enjoyable read.

This is about Sheriff Braxton from book one. It has a few quirky characters and the storyline is good. It took a while before I could figure it out before it told me the who dunnit. Good story, good characters.
Laurie

Started a bit slow, but when it got going I really enjoyed it. Will read more from Jennifer Skully.

I love the books she writes under the name Jasmine Haynes. Update: I decided to stop reading this because it was moving too slow & the focus was on characters that didn't interest me.
