Being short, I really liked the book. It's an easy reading and relaxing book.

It's nice the way Matts tells us his story, trip, thoughts, ... the way he changes... The experiences he has are quite realistic, as are the feelings about his friends and family, his mood depending on the situation and his reactions to the series of events he is living.

There are a couple of chapters at the end that are kind of rushed, where Matt is not longer telling his story (a third person is), but after that he is

Very laid back book - I liked it. If Jack Johnson was a writer, this is what I would expect from him - Aaron looks hotter though!!

'If Carlsberg wrote books' - this is awesome dude
Jennings has a straight forward, simple writing style. I felt like I was traveling along next to Matt as he backpacked in Thailand and later in Australia. Oz is one of my favorite travel destinations and I was a bit sad that the only Australian town featured is Byron Bay. I'll have to make it to Thailand sometime. During his travels, Matt learns a lot about himself and what's important in life. The ending is very satisfying, if a little predictable.
This book has to be one of the poorest contributions that have ever bastardised the literary world. Self undulgent infantile nonsense that was , at a guess, was self published by a rich kid author. I want that day of my life, that i wasted reading this, back .
