Oh how I love Jem… Tessa had better choose Jem!! Or I may not read another Cassandra Clare book again. (Okay, that is a lie. And I admit it. I will always read Ms. Clare's books, no matter what.) Has anyone noticed how Tessa and Will would be too similar to Clary and Jace? If Tessa's with Will, I might have to assume Clare can't write about different romances. (I won't. Because it is clear that she can write about versatile romances.)

This book, to me, already seems likes it's going to break my heart x10 more than Clockwork Prince did <spoiler>(which, by the way, I was sobbing at "Jem has proposed to me, and I have said yes")</spoiler> and I'm not sure I'll survive. It'll be a very bittersweet ending, that's for sure. But it's already implied that Tessa will lose both Jem and Will, seeing how she will live forever (her appearance in City of Glass) and they will both die eventually.

PLEASE let Jem end up with Tessa. It's SO predictable Tessa will probably end up with Will. And that will prove that like most YA authors, the talented and wonderful Ms. Clare is unable to pick but the most obvious and first love interest.
WHY do they always go for the "mysterious, dark, and tortured" guy? JUST PICK THE SWEET PURE AMAZING ONE.

i absolutely LOVE the infernal devices. I don't know why but the story and the characters i feel i can connect to more than the characters in the mortal instruments. as much as i love Jace i don't really feel the same way about clary as i do with Tessa.

My life's going to be a blistering ball of angst when this book finally comes out. I care for both Will and Jem and I don't want either of them to get hurt. I'm about as conflicted as Tessa, but Will's definitely going to be who she belongs with.

I find it amusing that the book has already 4.5 stars as its rating and yet the book won't be out for another year.

I was left totally mouth opened at the end of clockwork prince! I mean how could it just end off cut off there and expect us to wait another year. I only read clockwork angel two months ago and i couldnt even wait three weeks for clockwork prince. How do you expect me to wait aa whole year.

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare is just..... so wonderfully well-written and lovely and I'm afraid that Clare might not fulfill her plan on making this a trilogy and make it more, like what she did with TMI. But, I have to say, Clare's writing in TID is way, way, wayyyyy better than TMI. It's like, everything here is so neat and lovely while TMI's so young adult-y and edgy. I'm on team Will! I feel that while Tessa does "love" Jem she is "in love" with Will. She proves this time and again, her thoughts are always with him. As well I don't see Will as the "bad boy" he obviously cares deeply for everyone around him which is why he chooses to cut himself off from the love of others in order to protect them.
