This was a great intro book on the film industry. My greatest interest is in how to fund independent films, and this book helped me get a strong handle on what that entails. It also helped me understand how the whole industry works together, including what one can expect from different entities within the industry, including investors, producers, cast, directors, crew and distributors. Great book! I enjoyed the comprehensive view of a fascinating industry that's in the news a lot. It explained large budgets, the focus on box office results and includes some interesting details about why the industry is changing. Highly recommended!
