I read all Mr. Hagberg's work.
Warning: R rated; explicit violence, rape, murder, bad language in both English and Russian.
With kidnapping for ransom a growth industry in much of the world today, this could be 'ripped from the headlines'. The story is based on an actual occurrence, and the name of Yvonne Bornstein has been changed to Patti.

Not like the other Hagberg novels, starring Kirk McGarvey. This one is loosely based on the true story of Yvonne Bernstein, who was kidnapped in Russia and held for ransom in the 1990s. Indominable spirit and cooperation between FBI and Russian police save the day. Wrongly titled.
I like this book it took me a couple of chapters to get into it and was hard for me to pronounce the names so i got a little mixed up at times. but this book was a great book i do like and i do recommend this book. its feels like a suspense movie....i just finished the book today i am so excited! and crazy ending! unexpected!
This was a good story, based on a true story of a lady kidnapped in Russia by Chechan/muslim terrorists. I like the other series of books he has written better. But, I recommend this book, pretty suspensful.
A fast paced well written book, I will want to read more by this author.
