Teach Yourself PHP. I didn't. I mean, I might have, if I had actually bought the book rather than borrowing it from the library, but I'm not that interested in PHP, et al. This was a great primer for getting to understand web development. Though a understanding of C would be helpful you can definitley get by without it.
