Recommends it for:
people who want to learn more about basic, quality human communication
This is a slim book addressing the problems people have communicating with each other. It's simple and straightforward. It is mostly pertinent to couples, but also applies to any two people trying to communicate. Satir first talks about why our communication is often bad, and how everyone suffers as a result. Virginia Satir (26 June 1916 – 10 September 1988) was an American author and psychotherapist, known especially for her approach to family therapy and her work with Systemic Constellations.
