When I picked up this book, I felt it was quite dated. However, my professor's technique for using the material required that we work through many of the activities in class ourselves. As teachers, we were able to see, first-hand, how useful the activities are for use in the classroom.

He is best known as the co-creator of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series, which currently has over 124 titles and 100 million copies in print in over 47 languages.
