Matt is a great lifeguard and swim instructor, but his office skills leave much to be desired. His co-worker, Roxie, has to go to a workshop in office management and there’s no way she’s going alone. So she enrolls Matt without his knowledge, and now he’s stuck. In Book #6, Vic's new power is a technopathy (?) where he can manipulate electricity. It comes handy when the city is on outage and her lover, Matt is trapped inside an elevator. I enjoy reading this snippet of a day in their life. A little glimpse of Matt as a child, that triggers his discomfort with elevator.
