I was expecting a bit more from this book. It covers a lot, but only really as an introduction to many different foods and why to work them into a diet. I like Gillian McKeith's other books much better - this one was just a bit too topical for me.

Overall I thought the book was decent but nothing special. The first half of the book had information that I already knew. The second half though was very interesting. It provides a breakdown of various diseases and conditions, and provides various forms of food, supplements and natural remedies to use in order to "treat" the problems. I thought this was the only unique aspect of the book. It is a nice reference book for natural remedies.
