This board book is an abstract snippet of the noises trucks make. The words chosen by Light to explain noisy trucks are delightfully in strong opposition to the watercolor illustrations, and the effect is that of a jaring harshness, perfect for a book on trucks.
My not-quite-three-month-old boy loves this book. He smiles and smiles when we read it to him. The pictures are bright, and the text is fun to read aloud.
Jasper's current favorite! A long, rectangular board book with one truck per page with the sounds the truck makes. Lots of fun to read with your toddlers!
It's like book crack for toddler boys. I wish there was a way to update my feed for everytime I will end up having to read this book.
Illustrations of different trucks with their sound. The words for the sounds are fun, but they don't represent the actual sound.
Isabella loved the truck noises that the author spells out for the parent to read. Fun, fun book!

This was read at story time in Lewiston. All of the truck noises were very fun :)
Alex loved it. Lots of great truck noises and vibrant retro style watercolors.
The book is okay but I think my Babies and Tots storytime will like it.
Very cute book about the sounds different types of trucks make.
Used for Baby Loves Things That Go baby storytime May 2009.
Its Luke's favorite...had to add it.
Our library finally ordered this book and got it in. It's full of fun truck noises and is a current favorite.
