John's Butterscotch refrigerator cookies are stupendous. 1 1/2# butter! I substituted dark brown sugar and whole wheat white flour 'cause that's what I had and they turned out great. Probably even butterier (is that a word?) with light brown sugar and all-purpose flour.

Marshmallow chocolate bars - what can I say? No other reason on earth why I would have gelatin on hand. Totally love these.

I read this cookbook cover to cover and have tried 6 to 7 of the recipes and it is great! The recipes don't have too many ingredients and most are quick and easy. I borrowed this book from the library but will purchase it.
