Elisa Rolle

I remember the previous book in this short series as original and almost funny. The author decided to take two "classical" paranormal heroes, like a Werewolf and a Vampire, and pair them together; it's not here the originality, but in what she made of them. Forget the classical paranormal description, the Vampire dark and brooding, the Werewolf strong and dominant... here we have a Werewolf who by day is an antique dealer and by night a private investigator; but more than his job, it's his behav ...more

Needed to be much more fleshed out

- I found the characters and the paranormal world interesting. Nothing terribly original, but there are some amusing little details here and there that give the story a unique twist.
- I often get frustrated when short stories like this one try to show an entire relationship forming from start to finish. I find them much more satisfying when the characters already know each o

3.5 stars. A fun read. Nick and Alex solve a paranormal mystery and their strange relationship takes a couple of faltering steps forward in this short story. The short length made it difficult to put much depth into the story and the resolution seemed a little too easy. It was still enjoyable though.

The story is rather short, but unlike some full novels it has it's special style. The story is etertaining. The characters are quirky, funny. I only wish the author would write more about them!

I'd just like to say it's a little creepy to see "Date of death" sitting up there. And a little hard to avoid the temptation to fill something in.

I'm not really sure what else to say... Permanently attached to "The Partner-in-Crime". We have four cats, one dog, three goldfish, about, and a lot of guitars, three violins (one of them is electric), and a ukulele.

I've been writing since I was little.
