Lacanian science fiction. Puig continues his deconstruction of psychoanalytic theory through cannabilization of genre fiction. To get the full Puig effect you have to read his body of work. I wrote my thesis on him so I'm biased.

Altamente recomendable

Recommends it for: yes

This is the author of the "Kiss of the Spider Woman" and this story was darnn poetic in scale. A woman married to a German arms manufacturer in 1930 to a woman who escaped the violence of Argentina makes for a great societal commentary.
