Trippin' with Terry Southern: What I Think I Remember
In 1964, novelist/screenwriter Terry Southern met actress Gail Gerber on the set of The Loved One. Though they were both married, there was an instant connection and they remained a couple until his death. Gail recalls what life was like with 'the hippest guy on the planet' as they traveled from Los Angeles to New York to Europe and back again.

I found this to be a superficial account of author Terry Southern's life as described by his common law wife/companion from the mid-1960's until Southern's death in 1995. Unfortunately, the author doesn't have much talent for writing or storytelling. She offers many anecdotes but little depth, and cuts off many interesting tales that I would have loved to have read more about.
