I Can Fly (A Golden Classic)
A little girl's active imagination leads her to moo like a cow, squirm like a worm, grab like a crab and mimic a variety of other creatures. Bright, colorful illustrations and whimsical text help young readers learn about animals.

Very cute rhyming book about a little girl who compares herself to certain creatures. A great activity can be done where students compare themselves to something else using a Venn diagram. Overall, a very simple story that children like to read themselves.
The five stars are for the older, longer version from MY childhood. I also own the current one. Amazing illustrations.
Crunch crunch crunch, I'm a goat out to lunch.

I just took a video of Lola "reading" this whole book - so cute! LOVE the illustrations - definitely had some books by the illustrator when I was a little girl.
I love Mary Blair's illustrations so much! She's one of my absolute favorites. This was cute and fun and empowering... an excellent combination.
A cute book with cute drawings about a little girl who doesn't set limitation on what she can do. It is lovely.
My favorite sayings are "My house is like a mouse's," and "Howl Howl Howl i'm an old screeched owl."
A cute book. Reminds us that we can be anything we feel like being at any time. =)
A lovely children's book that recalls the fun of youthful imagination.
Very cute. We like the fun rhymes and pretending to be different animals.

A favorite read-aloud of Susanna, my three-year-old. My mom tells me I was obsessed with this book myself as a toddler.
