I thought it was funny that this book was here, so that is why it is in my collection. I did however read it, and if you are really interested in learning how to read EKG's this book is pretty good. I have herd that Dubin is a pedophile, though not sure in the truth in that.

Yeah yeah yeah, think what you like, but this is seriously some INTERESTING stuff for us medical geeks out there. I definitely think the heart is an amazing organ, plus this book helps me at work, can't beat that!

This made understanding EKG's seem easy. I hope I can remember what I learned.

I do like the user friendly nature of this book. But, despite starting it on 4 separate and enthusiasm filled attempts, I have never finished it. Maybe only the first half is user friendly, and then it grinds me into the ground. Sigh. Someday I'll finish it. But first I must summon the enthusiasm to try a 5th time.

Read this for my job as a medical assistant in a cardiology office. Excellent book. It takes some getting used to (it's interactive) and the author's voice is a little silly at times, but that keeps it casual. Very easy to understand and quick to read. I will be reading it again soon.

recommends it for: anyone who wants to learn how to read EKGs
This EKG book has enough conceptual scaffolding built in that I'm pretty sure someone with only a basic understanding of the heart could learn how to read an EKG.

Also the paper quality is crazy heavy. Every page is full-color glossy, almost magazine-cover thickness.

the book is very heavy for it's size, but if you need to learn how to interpret EKGs -- THIS IS THE BOOK TO GET!
Many, many great explanations, and much needed repetition made the learning almost too easy!

This is an excellent book for anyone in the medical field who needs to interpret EKG's. This was my EKG Bible and taught me more than any of my instructors did in nursing school. Highly recommended!!

a classic! systematic method of reading ecg's that is foolproof. after reading this book you will never mistake digitalis effect on an ekg... or salvadore dali's mustache.

If you want to learn how to read EKGs, all that is required is about a 3rd grade education. This book makes it almost ridiculously easy.

Essential EKG resource for med school. It starts fairly slow, but is designed to reinforce all the concepts it puts forth.

This book is, so far, amazingly easy to understand. Reading EKG strips has confounded me until I picked up this book.
