Well, I'll say that Consumed has great love scenes but the rest of the story is just missing more development. Amber goes from not seeing her high school crush, Brian, for umpteen years and agrees on a date with him. Okay that's fine, but to go commando on the first date, engage in a hot sex scene within 5 minutes of his arriving at her apartment with little dialogue in between, bounce off to the date, engage in more hot sex, and then wrap up the date with a cliche'd sc...more

I wish the book was a little bit longer so we could have had more story and the whole thing wouldn't have seemed as rushed and we would have been able to have some back story to help us connect with the characters better. We basically had to find out what type of people the characters were though conversations in the book, not because we could gleam their personality from the story. That was definitely because it was short. I, for one, would have liked a flash back or two to the high school days...more
Poorly executed...Extremely disappointing and UN-consuming!..., I am sorry to give a poor rating. I commend anyone willing to take time to write a story and publish.
However, I paid money and was not entertained. The story is weak and all over the place. Most of the non-sexual parts made no sense and the sexual parts were just dumb. It appears the author only cared about writing about sex rather than a story.
