Dejaré esto a la mitad con la certeza de que todo el libro será igual.
Unas cuantas ideas que convergían mientras lo leía:

- Si se es un escritor blanco, en sus cuarentas, heterosexual y con dinero que quiere escribir autoficción, hay que pensárselo dos veces.
- Me hartan los libros para literatos. No los que son sobre literatura, como los de Vila-Matas, o los textos acádemicos (estos últimos también cansinos, por cierto, y casi nunca perennes), sino esas novelas impregnadas de un tufillo de supe

Sergio Pitol Demeneghi is a prominent Mexican writer and diplomat. In 2005 he received the Cervantes Prize, the most prestigious literary award in the Spanish-speaking world.

Pitol studied law and literature and served in the Mexican foreign service at Rome, Belgrade, Warsaw, Paris, Beijing, Moscow, Budapest and Barcelona. He started publishing novels in the late 1960s.
