The plot left something to be desired, but it definately added some perspective to my understanding about how to build energy efficient, durable, and environmentally friendly homes.

The Passive House Standard was cenceived of in Germany, where it is generally cold, but extreme cold is less common than in the US. Most of the houses detailed in the book failed to meet the full standard for a number of reasons. These guys do have cool modelling software. For $250 you can buy the software, ...more
