Paul's book is incredible. The first half, very academic, yet much like the great pamphleteers of the revolution and before, who marshaled the lessons of history and rediscovered forgotten works to defend a thesis core to our "American experiment." The last half of the book is activist in tone, and worth considering the careful critiques of the constitution, the mixture of intentions of the founding fellas, and the way we seem to have forgotten our role as citizens.
