This book is about another girl in the Pretty Commette, who has a summer to look for fun in Hawaii. She has to look into tennis, and ends up looking into love.

1)It is part of a series I read called "The Clique'
3)It is very descriptive and puts a lot of details into it. It makes seem like it was written by a teenager, rather then a older woman.
4)I think the author wanted us to understand the bad things about trying to blackmail someone.
5)I would like my friends to read it, as well as anyone who

Svetlana hails from the land of Russia, and after an episode at a tennis game (where she smashed a ball girl's teeth), she got sent to a rehab center to control her anger. Now back and ready to get back in the game, Svetlana is being interviewed by Dylan's mom, Merri-Lee Marvil on her show, The Daily

This book is about Dylan a girl with her Mom who goes to Hawaii. In Hawaii Dylan meets a boy that she falls in love with. Throughout the book Dylan tries to do things for him like learn and become a tennis pro and wear all white clothes, and eat as healthy as possible.
I liked this book because I thought it was very funny that, she did all these things for him. I liked that she always made mistakes and it made me laugh. I also liked it because this book is part of a series I'm reading and it re

I thought Dylan from the Clique Summer collection series by Lisi Harrison was a good book and that I really did enjoy reading it. I could never put the book down after a short chapter because those would always leave me wondering what will happen next in the story. Towards the end I really got into it after there was much drama that was revealed and it made me want to read the next book to find out the conclusion.
Dylan was a very calm but cliff hanging story. There was a big tennis competition w

"Awww... Poor Dyl Pickles!" That's what Merrri-Lee would say if she wasn't so busy with all the press releases that she's getting off of Svetlana. Aloha, Hawaii! Dylan's brooding over a boy named J.Twho is actually more obsessed with the game than the girl that he dates. But Dylan's ready to remedy that-by taking Svetlana by storm- and winning a tennis match against her. But first of all, she has to get her to agree, first. The only way she can do that is by blackmailing her. Otherwise, Svetlana ...more

This book was pretty good. I thought the story line was a little unrealistic. It is about how the famous tennis player, Svetlana, is on Dylan's mom's talk show. Behind the scenes, she gets in a fight and gets out of hand. Then Dylan gets it all on tape. I understood it but, I couldn't see that happening in real life. Other than that, I never knew what was going to happen next and I never really got bored. Something was always happening. Another thing I love about all these books is that the aut ...more

Ehmagawd! This has got to be one of the worst books ever written. I am frankly appalled that so many tweens are reading this drivel. To summarize: Dylan is in Hawaii with her unavailable mother, who has scored an exclusive interview with Svetlana, the star of the Aloha Open. Dylan is obsessed with her weight and with the “hawt” guy (whose father owns the spa resort where the players are staying). She’s whiny, immature, and incredibly brand-conscious. I’m thinking Harrison was being pai

My daughter raced through a bunch of these and I picked this book out of curiosity.

Lisi Harrison and her publishers are geniuses. They have invented a new paradigm for publishing. People pay for these books that are essentially a vehicle for product placement. It's a bunch of brand names strung together with a flimsy plot.

With all of their product placement money, they should have hired a continuity supervisor to prevent bloopers like landing at Honolulu airport and then checking into a resort

This is way more detailed than the other books of this series normally are. I guess it has to do with the fact that Lisi Harrison is focusing on one girl at a time. I still love it. That one part where J.T "kisses" Dylan, I knew that was a dream. There is no way it could have escalated that quickly.

I have to admit that I was momentarily deceived by Svetlana's sob story, but I wanted to slap her when she thought that Dylan would so easily hand over the video. Speaking of which, HASN'T DYLAN HEARD
This book is about this girl dylan and her mom is a television host and she got sent to Hawaii to talk to this teenage tennis player. the tennis player ended his carrier by hitting someone in the face with a tennis racket because they were cheering for the other team. dylan soon becomes upsides with this guy, and she starts to become obsessed with tennis.

i think this book relates to the other books in the series because thats a very dylan move. because dylan is 3ed in command of the clique she

I loved this book to be honest I've always enjoyed all the clique books that I have read so far. I like Dylan the most out of all the girls, because 1 she is a ginger like me, 2 because she also is worried about her wait, and 3 tennis. All though we have different thoughts about tennis I love she hates it's is both part of our lives. I also happen to love Hawaii I've only been there once but I had an amazing time, guess what I also got to play tennis there. Enough about me. Dylan however has to ...more

Dylan, a rich girl with an exciting summer ahead of her… or is it? Will she relax and lay back, or run around smacking tiny green balls on a clay court? The Clique Summer Collection Dylan by Lisi Harrison is a book about having a mind of your own… not your loves!

This book was about what Dylan did over the summer. Since her mom is a TV-host, she got to go to Hawaii for the summer while her mom was interviewing a very famous teen-age tennis player, Svetlana. Dylan is just getting over the fact that two boys brpke up with her at the end of 7th grade. Now she fell in love with a boy obsessed with tennis. Not only that, but Svetlana is a fame-obsessed jerk who treats Dylan like garbage, but no one believes it because she puts on a show for everyone else. At ...more

This was a awesome awesome awesome book. It was about how Dylan went to Hawaii with her mom to interview this tennis star, Svetlana. During the interview, Svetlana was REALLY nice, but then she was all mean and crap. She shattered some girl's teeth with her tennis racket and threatened to smash Dylan's too. Dylan liked this guy named J.T though. But he only liked girls that were into tennis. And he had a major crush on Svetlana. So when Dylan threatens Svetlana that she will show the tennis exec ...more

Dylan Marvel is going on a vacation to Hawaii with her mother, but there is a catch... She has to deal with the tennis Russian star her mother is interviewing. But at least Dylan can relax by the ocean and admire her crush. False, she has to show her crush that she knows about tennis and can play without getting injured. She has to go to extreme measures and ask the tennis star( who broke a ball girls teeth with a racket and broke her ex's nose) for advice. Hopefully it works out well...

DYLAN is the second book in THE CLIQUE SUMMER COLLECTION, and lives up to the reputation of the CLIQUE series.

Dylan and her mom (who is a famous TV personality) travel to Hawaii to interview the world-famous tennis player, Svetlana. Svetlana has recently gotten out of rehab for her anger management issues, and this is her first match and interview since her last incident. Dylan and Svetlana get in a little tiff, but as a Clique member there is no wa

This book was ok, not nearly as good as the Massie Summer Collection book. I was anxious to read this because very rarely do we read Dylan's point of view. I thought Dylan would be more carefree, funliving, and less dramatic then the others.
But then again, she's not in the Pretty Committee for nothing.
Dylan opperates just like Massie: lying, blackmailing, and getting even -you name it- along with a few unique characteristics: being ignored, self-concious, and burping.
Let's just say The Summer

I think I enjoyed this one slightly better than I did Alicia's. Maybe it's because I have gotten used to the language, but it was really fun.

I am a bit WTF at the fact that Dylan considers herself fat even though she's just a size 6. Seriously? But other than that I liked the mentions of Winsome, Svetlana's designer.

Dylan did a little blackmailing to get her way and it all came back to her of course, but she ended up getting the perfect guy. Everyone, except Svetlana, got their happy ending. Ju

Ew, ew, ew. I hate JT. Honestly, he was so immature. As well as that famous Russian tennis player. Most of the characters in this book were immature, and that's a major no for me. I also found it horrid that Dylan moved from one boy to the next in less than a day. She's not even in the eighth grade, yet she acts like that! In the real world, none of the characters would survive.

But besides that, it wasn't hard to read/get through it at all. Even though the tennis player (Svetlana I think her nam
