In Bella Mia(the final book in the Daughter of Darkness trilogy), since Gwen is on the run she is staying with Giovanni Baldassare. She's still unsure of her feelings for Giovanni and hopes to find out her past life with him and how things really ended. Also Pallo and Caleb resurface and it seems there's more problems than ever before. This was by far my favorite of the three books in the series. It had less conflict and a little more action. We get to meet some new characters and a new type of supernatural creatures. The plot was very interesting although I was afraid I wouldn’t like it as much as the other books because I just wasn’t sure how I felt about Giovanni. I can honestly say I didn't see this one coming. Whoa! But I can see how this is a perfect twist to predictability.
Bella Mia, the final book in the Gwen Stevens trilogy, opens with Gwen living with the vampire Giovanni on his estate in Tuscany. Giovanni has offered Gwen a safe haven after she fled the Dark Realm, Caleb and Pallo. Giovanni has kept the estate updated with things Gwen enjoyed during their initial relationship, several hundred years ago...

Such a good series. Read all three in one night and they weren't short reads. Couldn't put them down and this book was my favorite by far. I was rooting for Giovanni the whole time not sure why. Just loved how the story turned out
