It's only fair to preface this with the fact that I absolutely abhor this topic. I have dropped my psychology research methods class at least three times so take this as a review from someone who wouldn't really love any research methods book.

As far as research methods texts go, this one is short and basic and easy to understand. It's perfect for undergraduates who just need to know the fundamentals of scientific research methods and not every possible obscure research design.
This probably deserves 2.5 stars. It's fairly easy to understand for a research novice.
