All I can say is that I tried. I tried HARD. If you like acronyms then this might be something you'd want to read. Mr. Mayhem is quite adept at those. Um, besides that I can't really say too much else. This is a IN DEPTH, and I DO MEAN IN DEPTH, look at Army life. The only problem is the book doesn't have the interesting details that I might like to know. I don't really care all that much about the wait for the cattle truck being two hours. I just read this book last night. It is the true tale of a man who becomes a soldier. This was his journey from intake to AIT. He brought back alot of memories for I too was a US soldier. This story has truth with lot of humor. I was literally laughing out loud at his stories and his narrative. The book reads well, he engages the author and brings you into the world of the US ARMY. For those who have experienced it, this book is worth reading, you will definitely enjoy. For those who are curious ...more
