but i gotta confess - i was a little disappointed. after reading Chewed, Dirty Wow Wow and Other Love Stories: A Tribute to the Threadbare Companions of Childhood, and Much Loved, i expected there to be some wear on these toys, because that's what i l
Product Description
The creators of the popular book DIRTY WOW WOW present this brand new album, featuring beloved family pets and the raggedy objects of their affection. Big dogs, small dogs, mixed breeds, purebreds, puppies, and seniors tug, chase, chew, guard, nuzzle, sleep on, and play with their shredded teddies, blankies, and chewies. Each dog portrayed has formed a bond with a self-selected favorite, and many of them remain loyal to just one toy. Among the toys that have survived the peril
In an age of scaled down economic expectations, it should not be surprising that coffee table books are getting scaled down too. This book of dog portraits taken with their favoritie toys, is a wonderful little book for any dog lover. A few years ago it would have been twice as large physically and three or four times the price. At $14.95, the message comes across wonderfully without breaking the bank. Highly recommended, but don't expect anything more than many smiles and a few "ahhhhs."
Scott bought this for me for Christmas. It is one of the best presents I've ever received. Of course, you've got to love dogs and feel all gooey about them...

I have been wanting to just savour this book, but with all the book club books I've got going on and then the memoirs for the radio show I've got to read, I never had the time. Having just read 4 books back to back for work, I brought this to bed a couple of nights ago and just took my time with it.

What a gift.
A short pictorial volume showing dogs with their favorite beat-up toys. The blurbs about each dog are sometimes awkwardly written, but hey, cute dogs!

A must have for dog lovers. Great photos with short, heartwarming stories.
