One's the loneliest number. Two's company. Three's a fantasy come true.

The rules of Tequila Truth are quite simple. Shots are poured, a question asked, and only absolute truth can be the answer. Kylie Halston has been playing the game with her roommates, Colt and Heath, since their freshmen year of college.

On his twenty-fifth birthday, Heath poses a question: "What is your

Cute story. All the characters were very likable and I liked the fact that all had a connection before they got jiggy with it. The only problem I had with the story was when the girl said she thought of one of the guys as a brother...(forgive me for being crude) since when is it ok to fuck your brother? Never, that's when. Otherwise good story.

I feel bad for rating this 3 stars. I mean it wasn't bad. The best friends to lovers theme was the baseline, with the two guys deciding to fulfill the girl with a weekend of no bars sex. How could it go wrong?

This is mostly a PWP (porn without plot) type of book, with a sexy police officer, a naughty architect, and the teacher heroine, who happen to share a platonic roommate relationship for 8 years. But after a game of Tequila Truth, the three are suffering from lust for each other. (no guy on

The set up of this story was a definite fantasy for me. A woman living with her two guy best friends who decide to take their relationship to the next level... then the next level...and then the next level again.

The idea was to have a weekend of hot, nasty sex to fulfill all their fantasies. And the journey was hot. Short but hot.

The guys were dominant, yet respectful and they also had skills. The three of them are finely in tuned in the bedroom but the guys decide they want more than j

Snack food fantasy.

Yum...YUM. Seriously, this just falls under every girl's must-have: two best friends and you all fall in hot sex and love. Delish combos served fresh and hot.

Well, that’s certainly the worst proposal I’ve ever heard. I’m embarrassed my name was even linked to it.”

Like others, I was drawn in by the premise, the game of "tequila truth" that leads to three previously platonic friends getting into bed together. But with that element the last evidence of reality fades. As the three go through their weekend, the scenario plays out basically like the perfect flawless fantasy of how this would go - every character is emotionally on point, says the right things at the right times, and there's never a hint of jealousy or confusion. They go from platonic to marriag ...more

Kylie, Colt, and Heath have been best friends and roommates since college. It's their tradition to play "Tequila Truth" during every birthday celebration. What is tequila truth? They each take a shot and honestly answer a question that is asked of the group. Usually the questions are highly sexual. So....at their most recent birthday celebration, the question was about what their ultimate sexual fantasy was. Kylie's answer....to be with two men, with bondage and spanking thrown in for extra fun. ...more

Again, this one reminded me of one of her menage stories (Sweet Thursday, Wild Irish series #4), but I appreciated it all the same. This is a short and hot story with a little kink added to up the ante. I liked it a lot. I always love how Mari Carr writes the friends-to-lovers theme and make it work, that makes a very strong foundation as cited here in the story.

Kylie, Heath, and Colt have been living together since their college days and for every birthday someone's celebrating, there's always

Mari Carr, Tequila Truth (Samhain Publishing, 2008)

Short (~78 pp.) novella that has a good deal of ambition, though ultimately doesn't quite fulfill same. Standard porn setting that never seems to work out in real life: three best friends, two male and one female, have been living together ever since college, with she believing that he 1 and he 2 just look at her as one of the guys, when in fact both of them want nothing more than to get her into the sack. She lets slip her two-guy fantasy durin

My Review:
Heath- architect
Colt- police detective
Kylie- school teacher

Roommates Colt, Heath, and Kylie have lived together for 7 years and at every birthday, they celebrate with a game of Tequila Truth. At the last game, 6 months ago, the game took a risque turn which titillated Kylie's imaginations. Ever since, she has been taking dangerous risks in the form of sexual experimentation. Risks that have finally spilt over to Colt and Heath wh

This was one of those shorter tales that I wish was just a little longer. I fell in love with the situation we are introduced to. Two guys find themselves rooming with a girl by accident. The three become best of friends by way of a tradition of "Tequila Truth". The three get schnockered and tell each other a truth they have.

We meet them well into this tradition, when our girl decides she will finally admit her desire for a menage, and her roomies decide they are the ones to give it to her. And

I really liked this one, loved how their annually tradition slightly changed things for these 3 friends. Kylie realized that maybe what she wanted wasn't so out there, while Colt and Heath realized their roommate wasn't as innocent as she looked. I hated what spurred the boys to action, things could have gone really bad for Kylie.

I really liked how Colt and Heath talked things over before jumping into a menage thing. It was interesting how this was supposed to be a no holds barred weekend for th

Oh this was so hot, but I only wished it was longer. I don't know why I invest in novellas, because I only want more. I was all giddy with happiness while reading this. Makes me want to start my own game of Tequila Truth with my friends. I love honesty and facing problems head on, so this was perfect--add alcohol and you've got yourself a winning combo (alcohol and truth).

Really though, I thought there would be more hesitation from Kylie at the initial invitation. I mean, you've been BFF's and

Cute, but unrealistic. Colt was hilariously adorable. Red got into some messed up stuff with the belt and all. A little cheesy. But how can all of a sudden, all at the same time, you all realize you love each other? During the 7 years, if they were supposedly made for each other, wouldnt they would have thought about this? And theyre all just okay with this? There was no hesitation really, at any point, for the first or second proposition. And it was way weird that she called the her brothers. Y ...more

I really didn't enjoy it as much as Erotic Research which was much, much better the relationship development. I never really felt a real connection between the characters. They all agree to a weekend of hot threesome sex only to discover half way through they all love each other. It felt rushed. It was just too hard to believe. The sex wasn’t even that hot.

This was just ehhh for me…

2.5 star just okay.

I really liked this book, the book is about a girl who lives with her 2 male room mates who are by the sound of it extremely hot !! (what a lovely dream lol) They have all lived together for years and all have supported each other through different stages of their lives.
It starts with a Tequila Shots game, and after discussing their sexual fantasies the story quickly moves on from there.

This book is definately worth a read and I will certainly be buying some Tequila on my next shopping trip lol.

I found this book very enjoyable. It's about best friends who want each other, and those are often the hardest relationships to start, because everyone's afraid of ruining a good thing by even hinting that they're attracted to the other. This story, of one weekend of no-holds-barred sex, is a great way to get that dirty little secret out, and it doesn't hurt that the sex is great. There's nothing really new about this story, but it's no less enjoyable for its familiarity.

Two Doms + One Sub= Three best friends that win at a game of Tequila Truth. Rooming together for several years, Kylie, Colt and Heath find love and a marriage proposal they never thought prior to the 'One Weekend' agreement. Mari Carr does a great job at painting a hot and loving picture of this menage relationship.
I can say, if I stumbled upon my own Tequila Truth, I'd snap up a Colt and Heath and be happily ever after.

This is a nice, sweet story about a woman who finally gets what she wants with her two male roommates. As erotica goes, it's quite a bit softer than my tastes, but the story is well done. Without getting too spoilery, there are some really life-changing sex acts in this book, but while it is explicit, there's far too little time spent on the sex when you consider how much those scenes change the characters' lives.

A lot of threesome action.Friends for 7 years Colt,Kylie and Heath decide for a weekend to take their relationship to the next level and make Kylie's fantasies come true. When the weekend ends will they go back to be friends or they will take the risk and try to make their relationship work?

The book had some interesting M/F/M action. My only problem is that I confused Kylie with Heath for some reason.

I picked this one up on B&N after receiving a recommendation. I like the author's voice a great deal. The plot was fun, though there weren't any big surprises. Overall a light, fast read. Not a GREAT book (it doesn't cover any new ground), but well worth the price. Will definitely be buying more books by the author in the future.

Wow... just... wow! This book was freaking hot... like HOT hot! Kylie, Colt, and Heath had amazing chemistry and I enjoyed watching them not only live out their fantasies but watching them realize how deep their love for each other was.

It is a quick, short read. Nothing too amazing about it. Colt, Heath, and Kylie are nice characters. But this is nothing but a weekend adventure with a peak at the future they want. Just Ok, not a keeper or a re-reader for me.....

Liked this book. It was totally an erotica but with a story line! Sex ***

So, I'm generally not a menage girl. Just the idea of sharing tends to squick me out usually, but there are a few books out there that I love--and this is one of them. I WANT my very own Colt and Heath please. MERCY.

A great short, hot book. Not over done. Not unrealistic or froo froo descriptions. Great writing. Great characters. If you like erotic romance, pick this up!

A fantastic little read that scorched my senses. If you're wanting a quick, hot menage romance I definitely recommend Tequila Truth. It gets better every time I read it.

Writing a book was number one on Mari Carr’s bucket list and on her thirty-fourth birthday, she set out to see that goal achieved. Five years later, her computer is jammed full of stories — novels, novellas, short stories and dead-ends and six of her books have been published.

High school librarian by day and mother of two busy teenagers, Mari Carr found time for writing by squeezing it into the ho

“Colt, you’re a cop. I’m fairly certain you realize what you are proposing is illegal. As in bigamy.”
He laughed. “You don’t legally marry us both. Just one of us. Then the three of us make our own private vows.”
“Fine,” she leaned back and gave him a smug look as if expecting her next question to jar some sense into them. “Who am I going to legally marry?”
He grinned at her transparency. Obviously, she thought this was going to be a sticking point. “We’ll arm wrestle to decide that.”
