I got an autographed copy of this book at the Cookie Cutter Collector's Club Convention in 2010 in California. I really enjoyed reading about all of the presidents from Washington to Obama and their times. The cookie recipes are really interesting. The author has taken historical recipes and adapted them for use today with step-by-step instructions and modern ingredients. I shamelessly enjoy cookbooks! This is a fun one. Interspersed among the cookie recipes are presidential facts, trivia, stories, and pictures. It is colorful, too! The "Sequoia Brownies" look a definite must try.
