Co se vám vybaví, když někdo řekne jméno této autorky? L.J.Smith.

Title: The Possessed
Series: Dark Visions #2
Author: LJ Smith
Overall Rating: 4 stars

A series review will be posted on my blog tomorrow!

There's something about this series that I can't connect to as much as LJ Smith's other books. They don't seem to be as sexy or mysterious as the previous books that I've read, there's no emotive connection to the characters in this book. I kind of miss the insta love that was in Night World. I really

This was another good read in the series, but again, I didn't enjoy it quite so much the second time around.

Looking forward to reading the last book in the series.

A potom prišiel druhý diel.
A okrem toho potrebujem dohnať moje resty v ročnej GR challenge. Ale inak je to "full of bullshit". Seriózne. Upírske denníky cez kopirák, len tam nie je Stefan, Damon a Elena, ale Rob, Gabriel a Kaytlin. Jaj a magické pozadie. Ale aj to je úplne bullshitoidné. Totál

The Possessed is the second book in the trilogy of the Dark Visions by L.J Smith. Like I had mentioned before, anything by L.J Smith is a simple pleasure to read for me and this was no exception.

In this second installment, Kaitlyn and the rest are fugitives of the institute, running away from Mr. Zetes. Kaitlyn keeps having dreams of a white house near water and they set out to find such house for these dreams seems promisin

The story continues with The Possessed and it just gets darker all the time. There are some really strange revelations here, like the slime trails, and the peculiar group of people in Washington who wont lift a finger to help them (although they were called there to be helped by them).

This book wasn't so good, but it was obviously one of those tie-in novels between The Beginning and The Final Battle.

This was like The Breakfast Club meets The Summoning!

I DEVOURED THIS NOVEL IN A DAY.
I REGRET NOTHING. Well, except the fact that I neglected my responsibilities.

Honestly though, the connection between Gabriel and Kait is something I was looking forward to. I was kinda disappointed in this book because there's more running!

I still don't trust Lydia.

I am reading the bind-up editions of these books and decided to write my reviews for each separate.

I loved this book just as much as the first one. I loved the style of writing. The relationships between the five main characters that are connected is fantastic. Even though they want to break the bond, you can tell that right now it is a part of them and is comforting. The character development is written well. It is obvious how much they have grown as characters.

Smith has written yet another fan

Kaitlyn, Rob, Gabriel, Anna, and Lewis have escaped Mr. Zetes and the institute. After they had uncovered that Mr. Z was planning on using them physic weapons they fled. They are now on the road in search of a white house that they had seen in Kait's dream, but because of their link that Gabriel had caused (from being a telepath) they shared the dream. They also meet a girl named Lydia. She seems like a normal teenager, until her last name is revealed, Zetes. When they are convinced she will not ...more

The Possessed is the second book of the Dark Visions trilogy by L.J. Smith.

Kaitlyn, Rob, Gabriel, Anna, and Lewis are running away from the Zetes Institute. They are still bound by the link that Gabriel inadvertently created during the first book. They are not for sure where they are going, but one night, all of them share a dream of a beach with a white house in the distance. Several times they share this dream and ask who they are and where are they. They decide to find where the place is. On

The Possessed by LJ Smith is the second book in a trilogy, the Dark Visions trilogy.
I gave the first book, The Strange Power a 3/5, and gave the same to this novel.

Here is a spoiler synopsis and overview of the novel:

The gang knows something is seriously wrong with the Institute, Mr. Zetes and Joyce- so they are planning to run away and expose the evil they are discovering. Mr. Zetes essentially wants to "...turn them into psychic weapons and sell them to the highest bidder." A fight scene bet

My main problems with the last book were the Rob-Kait relationship, the twists in the story and the supporting characters.

The problems remain.
I don't see how in psychic-bond, were minds are linked is even possible to have supporting characters. It just doesn't fit. That Lewis and Anna are not that dominant makes them seem uninteresting people. The whole idea of a dangerous road-trip with being in each others minds is fantastic. It's a pity that other than the Gabriel-Kait thing it's utterly bor

After being thoroughly disappointed by the first novel in L.J. Smith’s Dark Visions trilogy, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sequel to The Strange Power proved to be an engaging read. The Possessed picked up right where its predecessor left off with Kaitlyn, Anna, Rob, Gabriel, and Lewis fleeing from the Institute. This time, they were hoping to make it to the mysterious location they kept seeing in their joint dream and hoped that the people who lived in the

The Possessed is book two of L.J. Smith's Dark Visions series - as if you didn't know that already - and I'd have to say that I didn't like this book as much as the first, The Strange Power. But I feel like that's to be expected when the majority of it is just the day-to-day journey of five teens on the run.

Kaitlyn Fairchild and her four friends are gifted with psychic powers and are attempting to escape from those that wish to exploit them - off and away to fend for themselves. Their only hint

One of the beneficial side effects of the sudden surge in paranormal teen romance is that Lisa Jane Smith's novels have been republished. They were essential reading material in my adolescence and getting the chance to reread them in my twenty-something-hood has been lots of fun. Supernatural creatures, love triangles, empowered heroines, a solid story, and clear narrative with just a hint of purple prose are the staple ingred
