Recommends it for:
Megalithic tourists, singers of spells
This book is a competent quest/coming-of-age fantasy, but more importantly it is a marvelous introduction to the great pre-Roman holy sites of Western Europe. The sense of wonder and detail will inspire young readers to seek out the fascinating cultures behind the story. Highly recommended.
