Boys own paper stuff based on the fall of Crete during WW2. Fast pace. all action following the ups and downs of Nick Everard and his half-brother Jack or possibly his son. (You need to follow the series to catch onto this). The hero and his destroyer eventually return to Alexandria cover in glory.

Great book

I have been meaning to reading the second book in this series, having enjoyed the first book. Book two continues the story of Nick, he has a new ship and his war has moved to the Mediterranean sea. His and his crew battles with the German air force daily. Finally he gets the promotion he has deserved to captain.
