I loved this book. It was fast and easy to read.

I did get a little frustrated with Deanna, though. Being a mother myself, even though I'm not a single mom, I do think that her concern should have been more about Sean getting so tight with her son as opposed to herself. She was more worried about herself than she was with the relationship with Kevin and Sean. Of course, it all worked out and it was more my thoughts than anything that matters in the story.

My first Sherryl Woods. The dialogue reminds me of Nora Roberts. The tone reminds me of Jude Devereux and the story progression reminds me of LaVyrle Spencer. No wonder she keeps coming up as a read alike for stuff I read.

It's good to read some of this author's older books. This one seemed longer than it needed to be, but the characters were all likable.

I really enjoyed this book about families reuniting and growing past old hurts to find new love.

Easy reading like most of Sherryl Woods books - shame I haven't read the series in order!
Ravi Chandra
A simple and nice story of struggling mother with her pint-sized son.

"The friends are the only things I've brought with me through the years that really matter," she says. "I could probably live without one more chintz teacup, another tin-litho sa
