Old, but quite nicely written, gives a brief overview on cuneiform script in general and the grammars of Sumerian and Akkadian as well. The book includes samples and various texts in those languages as well as a grapheme list and wordlists for both languages. I like it quite much, though some of the information might be outdated in the meantime.
