When I see a 0.5 as a prequel, I automatically think it's a novella, but this one isn't. It's a full-length novel and it ties in really well with Cynthia Eden's most recent Night Watch book Never Cry Wolf.

I couldn't get into this book. The plot and the characters bored me.Maya was kind of annoying and Adam was just her horny sidekick. His only interests were finding his niece and f**king. (Pardon my language, but if you can't take that, don't bother reading this book. Every page had a cuss word or some sort of trashy language on it, mostly the F word.) How to write this review is the question. I have heard so many wonderful things about author Cynthia Eden so I purchased this series awhile back. I heard the books were amazing and had kick ass hero's. So naturally my ears perked up, my finger started clicking on the 'buy now' option and I was the new owner of a new to me series. Great read. As usual, Eden delivers interesting characters and a page turning plot.

Absolutely loved the way the author slowly let us know more and more about the characters. The sex was smokin' hot and was just on the edge of erotica for me, but the storyline and characters warranted it.

This is one of them books where I'm not sure what to write in my review. This book was all right; lots of action, gore, blood and dead paranormal beings flying in every direction. But I think that's just it. It's an action book. Sure, the characters are well rounded and well developed - but it stops there.

I never expected to like the Cynthia Eden books, and for some reason she still seems to slip under my radar. More of a paranormal romantic suspense, her Midnight series is great. And still I only grabbed this new book on a whim. I was glad I did.

Buffy and Angel have nothing on this hero and unlikely heroine. Full of action, slaying and romance, this sexy novel is so fast paced I read it in one sitting.

This was 3.5 stars read for me. Though I truly enjoy Cynthia Eden's writing there were a few things that I didn't enjoy about this book and that was mainly Maya. Sure, she was a badass chick. I really liked this book. Both the hero and the heroine were loveable characters. I like the fact that the heroine was tough and kick ass and the hero allowed her to be that person. No damsel in distress here. This was definitely a cute play on the whole dragon slays the demons story since this dragon met a princess who could slay her own demons. Another enjoyable Paranormal Romance read from Cynthia Eden. This one involved Maya and Adam. Maya was a tough cop, who was unwillingly turned Vampire. In comes Adam, who finds Maya and asks for her help in locating his niece, Cammie who's been taken by Vampires. Adam is not only hot, but very mysterious, and definitely not human.

Well, to say about the author, she's a very good writer with the way the story was structured, and how her characters were set up with a unique and reasonable background.
Honestly, I'm not the kind who likes to read about women being hardcore and dominating most of the time. I'd prefer the guy dark and lethal, and in control majority of the time.

In Immortal Danger there are two characters sizzle off the page. Both characters have dominant personalities and this always can lead to amazing storytelling. I won't go into the details of the plot because there's already plenty of plot summary up, but I loved the heroine of this paranormal romance. I love reading this book. Maya is strong independent an feirce. I love reading about this book. It was a fantastic read. Adam is strong dragon shifter. It was the first book that I read by Cynthia Eden and I’m sure it won’t be the last! “Immortal Danger” is a good read and a fast-paced story. The author succeeds to give us a story with very much suspense and romance.

This was the first full book that I have read by this author. I think I may have read one of she short stories but honestly I cant remember. That being said I was pleasantly suprised by how much I enjoyed this book.

Excellent book!! I love how this book has so much action between the vamps, shape shifters and demons. In this book you’ll find a great romance story between two creatures that are killers with a heart for the weak, action, hot sex, and betrayal. I loved how the author would throw things in the story, so while your reading your saying to yourself, I would have never guessed that one.

This book was a lot of fun to read. Cynthia Eden does a good job making a character who is very likable. Maya, the main character, is strong and yet vulnerable which makes her interesting to read about. Adam Brody is similar and his protection of Maya reads wonderfully. This is a very steamy novel but it didn't felt overdone like some other books. If you're looking for a fast but fun read, with a little bit of raciness, pick this one up.

As it turns out that's a good thing.
I enjoyed this book as much as much as I've enjoyed each of Ms. Eden's books I've read. I'll keep reading and I do recommend this book as well as the Midnight Series.

back in the world of "the other"...an ex police officer unwillingly turned into a vampire due to a vicious attack is hired to find the missing niece of a very mysterious client...who turns out to be a powerful were dragon, a very powerful and rare breed of "other" and the niece is part were dragon and has been kidnapped to be the main meal for a long slumbering vampire.
Maya Black works for the LA police dept and they are aware of all the sups wandering around their city. They do their best to keep it all hidden from other humans. Maya Black is a Vampire and she is not happy about it. She used to be a cop and while working by herself was attacked by a vampire and turned. She is out every night killing off vampires and demons. I was very impressed with this book. I love books about shifters and I like how Eden infused her supernatural beings together relationship wise. The fact of what Adam Brody was and Maya being a vampire. I loved the romance aspect of things and that it was not to heavy and grotesque. She handles this book very well. I definitely loved this book.
I really liked it and had everything I like. It had my favorite creature in the book. Will read the next book and hope this will be a great series that become a favorite.
Wonderful book. I've read some of her short stories but not one of her full length books. Maya is changed to a vampire against her will and still wants to do the job of a cop, sometimes. She meets Adam when his niece is kidnapped by an awakening master vampire to be used as food. Together they try to rescue her. I love that they don't do the pussyfoot dance and just jump into the attraction. Would totally recommend this book.
