We're not gonna talk about the art because it's exactly the kind of early-90s art that was 90s art, and that's just how it is.

This is Deadpool's first solo mini, and overall, it's strong. I know quite a bit about Deadpool, but I've never read any of the stuff this early, and I've never read anything before this point, so I went in not being sure what to expect. Is the Deadpool I know (from Deadpool, vol 1., Cable & Deadpool, and forward), noticeably different from the Deadpool that was? Turn

This is officially my first Deadpool comic book; as you could probably guess, I am confused as to what's happening.

Yayy my first deadpool comic!!! Anyway this series marks the first solo outing of deadpool. The series strongest scenes come from deadpool himself and the story clearly suffers when he isn't round. The book's got plenty of humor and the action scenes are pretty okay too. If you are looking for something with a deep story line, then clearly this is not the book for you. I'd recommend it to those looking to kill time with a fun easy read.

Recommends it for: people who like violence and laughs in equal measure
Marvel's Merc With A Mouth flies solo for the first time. One of my all-time favorite mini-series, Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza teams up with a then-new Joe Mad (Not remembering how to spell his last name right now, maybe later) for a rollicking mix of gins, quips and pathos that makes Wade Wilson everyone's favorite mashup of Spider-Man and Wolverine.

Recommends it for: Fans del personaje, supongo.

One of the last pages with Deadpool and Copycat brings me to life because it shows a different side of Deadpool.
Solid story, with the best thing about it being Deadpool himself.
