Six years after the cliff-hanger ending of 'Spellbound', the authors complete the series with Resurrection. There is more bouncing about the globe (and through time) by various folk searching for other folk, more demons, more revelations, more fireballs, more death and destruction, and some rather dubious returns from the grave. Ever since I read Wicked two years ago, I've been a fan of this series. It may not be every one's cup of tea, and the magic in these books are nothing like Harry Potter, quiet the opposite in fact, filled with darkness and evil, and you never quiet know which side everyone is on....But that's one of the things I enjoy so much about this series.

Ok, totally completely freaking loved this series and hate, hate, HATE that it's over. I'm extremely happy that it looks like Eli and Nicole are going to get back together. I thought this book was a little better than the others in the series. It wasn't as boring, and it has some really good elements. There are some nice twists I didn't see coming, but also some you guess right away.

I was greatly disappointed by this last book. Ever since I discovered this series a few years back before the reprint, I've been waiting for the fifth book to come out. But they way the book was written I almost wish I was still waiting. The series is kind of like bubble gum pop for books, but the first four books were interesting and kept you hanging on. This book was awful and I was pretty relieved to have finished it, bringing to an end the 1000 page + saga.
I have said before that the previous books were badly written, and that some of the plot points were pretty confusing. In this book they throw time travel and teleportation into the mix and it's just impossible to follow in many places. It's been very badly edited and since this book is mainly action that's a big problem.

Resurrection was a satisfying ending to the Wicked series. At the end of the last novel Spellbound, I was left breathless, and shocked, at the cliffhanger. So I was even more surprised when the cliffhanger wasn't even acknowledged until about 90 pages in, and even then, the same character was still the only one with that knowledge.

Possibly the worst conclusion to a series I've ever read... far worse even than Mockingjay. Half the characters that died get resurrected. Half the important characters that lived get killed off without a thought. I read the entire Wicked series this month, so I feel bad for the fans that read books 1-4 and then had to wait six years for this, the final book. While I overall found the series enjoyable, I didn't care as much for the Christian-bent of this final book. Well if you've made it this far without quiting, then you deserve to read this final installment and finish the series. I'm not saying you'll enjoy it, but at least it's finally over and there's some closure. Not as many editing issues thank god, so that made it a little better. It was a fraction better than the ending I was expecting from such a bad series.

It was so magical and a change from reading about vampires....
Its a must read and once you start it you cant put it down.
I loved the way each character had a chance to express themselves and it was well explained as in what was happening with them in the story, and this time the main character wasnt seen as the good guy/girl. In the end love, good and evil rules the world!!!!!

I liked the entire Wicked series up until this last book. I thought that it focused to much on the smaller characters, taking away focus from the main, and in my opinion more interesting, story line. Even thought the book as a whole was dissapointing, I thought Nancy Holder did a very good job of wrapping up the ending.

I read all the Wicked books again before I read this one. All the books do is go from one catastrophe to another. "Oh we must fight the evil Deveraux family," "Oh I must defeat the Cahors witches." Back and forth, back and forth. Boring. So sorry I wasted my time reading all 5 books.

As Jer tries to figure out if he should be with holly or not, Holly and her cousins try to figure out how to destroy Jers dad once and for all. But as Holly tries to get close to Jer, Jer gets further away. Towards the end Holly and Jer end up together but there's a twist to it.

Jer was an okay character and so was Holly with Amanda. But I found myself more interested in Nicole and Eli, the fact that it was them whom Jean and Isabeau had tried to possessed first and that after the first time, Eli had taken precaution to protect both of them against possession. I liked them both. The end felt flat to me. It was okay, I didn't hate it, and I did care about the story, but it still felt flat.

Lastly, the ending was so weird, I didn't even have a clue what to think about the series afterward. The end seemed to have nothing to do with the series and was just quickly thought up and just thrown in there to spice it up. I was confused and thought it was very strange.

Even though I could not find the third and fourth books in the series, I don't think I missed much in the telling of the story - well except for the escape from Avalon and a few other things. A fast read and satisfying conclusion.
