Pretty good suggestions throughout the book, though I won't be bringing it with me and consulting it on my trip (had to bring it back to the library). I'm not an avid travel guide reader, but I could see some of the flaws that permeate most travel guides, such as no suggestions for cheaper accommodation options (e.g. chain hotels, hostels, airbnb). This is a very informative book about the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I don't think the restaurant guide is comprehensive enough and I didn't take a look at the maps, but I enjoyed reading about the sights and culture of Minneapolis. It's so interesting that there is authentic Vietnamese food there. It doesn't seem like there are that many tourist attractions, but sounds like there are really neat sky walks, lakes, and even an ethnic food market. I'm excited about visiting Minneapolis soon!

This guidebook was terrible. The maps were incomplete and poorly designed. The worst of it was that sometimes they would tell you about this great cool thing, and not even say how to get there!! No reference to where it was on the map, nothing.

I don't normally review guidebooks, but people have to know about this so they don't end up driving around in circles in MPLS like we did.
