A light-hearted tale set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by genetically enhanced animals. Things are getting worse by the day for the humans (and their genetically enhanced pets) living in the remaining enclaves. Cue some save-the-future of humanity adventures for our human and animal heroes and heroines. I miss having a cat...maybe that made me like this more than I would have otherwise? First, apparently, of a trilogy.
