It took me a while to get into. It confused me at times, because it had time travel in it. All in all it was a good read and it had a good ending. I will definitely be checking out more books from this author.

I'm a big fan of what I consider "time-defying fiction" - time travel, reincarnation, and flashbacks. The best thing about "Somewhere My Love" was that it was in the least covered of those categories, not to mention the one that I like the best, reincarnation stories. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. For one, it moved way too quickly in the romance. It was so annoying, I had to force myself to continue reading. Secondly, it had me scratching my head at times wondering what t...more

3 1/2 stars!

Do you believe in being reincarnated? Or that you can find a true love that will span eternity? Somewhere My Love by Beth Trissel is an intriguing love story that involves both.

Beth Trissel did a great job describing the characters, scenes and emotions. I could visualize the home and grounds. The story has a very quick timeline which seemed unrealistic but again it fits with the premise of the story of two lovers coming back together. The ending was quite a shock and I enjoyed it. Th...more

5***** A very good romance. I'm not sure its truly a time travel. Its more like remembering past lives. Julia our heroine has traveled from England to work in an American stately home. She instantly "remembers" Will (the hero) as the man she loved in a previous life. He knows the history of his ancestor but denies being his reincarnation. Danger lurks ,they must remember who the guilty party is before history repeats itself. A very good book.

True Love. True love will find a way to reconnect one soul to another, no matter how many years the couple must wait. That's my take on this lovely story. Not quite a time-travel or ghost story, but a bit of both, and this author makes it work. It is a story that made me smile as I thought about days after I'd finished. I recommend Somewhere My Love for all romance lovers.

Poignant and heartfelt, I really enjoyed the back and forth between their lead characters' past relationship and their new current romance. I liked the heroine's step-by-step realization that she'd lived a previous life. And it was a well-executed surprise ending.

Liked reading it, a little difficult at times due to the "time-travel" aspect of it, since I wasn't sure if she was dreaming or actually going back and it was a little easy to figure out once the creepy stuttering Paul was introduced, but still a good read.

A fun read.

Characters seemed like you knew them really, well and your hoping for everyone to get what they deserve.Had a bit of everything, Drama, action, suspense, ghostly activity, a bit of madness and humor.
Can’t wait to see what happens to the next generation of Wentworths.

This was a sweet story, but did not go into enough depth for me to rate it anymore than "3."

Somewhere My Love is a story with past lives, timeless love, and paranormal intrigue. Julia is a heroine both vulnerable and naive, yet strong in her convictions. I enjoyed the references and parallels to Hamlet, and the ending took me by surprise.
Melody
Really clever idea for a story, but the writing was sort of bad and clique. But, I still enjoyed the story, so I would give it a 2 1/2 if I could, it kept me reading to see what really happened to Cole.
