It only explained pregnancy, not conception. Sister bear is what, 6 or 7? I'm pretty sure that's an okay age to be discussing sex. Over all the book was disappointing. I also found it a little bit annoying how the book kept saying "Sister could accept that". Regardless of whether or not she could "accept" truths of life, it's the truth! I read the book apparently after this one was made that is about the baby. I think it was a great idea that Stan Berenstain made two books about babies. This one explains to the readers how a baby grows in a mother's womb and how it comes out. I think this book answers questions children have, and if the parents are having difficulty answering, try reading this book to them.
