these books may not be amazing but I thoroughly enjoy them (so far). it's probably just because I know the characters, the stories, etc. it's awesome. anduin is awesome. and varian is bad-ass.
The artwork is good, but the action scenes don't flow together well. Here the heroes battle Onyxia, which feels like an old storyline by now.
Collects issues 8-14 of the titled run. Walter Simonson is still on writing duties with art now carried out by Jon Buran and Mike Bowden replacing Ludo Lullabi who is still on board for some of the cover work. Not as good as the first collection with the now somewhat overpowered trio fighting together nearly throughout, bolstered by a variety of powerful allies and even an extra Varian.
