Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a large garden to grow your own veggies or herbs. All you need is a window ledge, some steps, a patio, some wall space or just some gaps in flower borders. This handy book is full of practical and inspirational tips on how to get started.

Shelves: reference, gardening
Excellent little book! Lists two to three varieties for each suitable crop, when to sow, plant out, what size container or bed to use, etc. Also contains some bug-busting and how to information. Will refer to this again and again this year I'm sure.
